We are a small interactive entertainment company based out of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Our company specializes in video games, in particular multitouch-based games.
Update - Project Renamed
Our current game in development has undergone a title change to more accurately reflect the change in creative direction the project has taken. The new official title of the game is Touch Assault. Final release is still scheduled for May 2009.
What's In a Name?
The pistol shrimp is a type of shrimp that has a very unique type of natural defense from predators. Despite it's tiny size, it can hold its own against the bigger denizens of the ocean, and this seemed more than perfectly analogous to our own organization.
A Touch of Conquest
Pistol Shrimp Games' first release is a RTS (real-time strategy game) titled A Touch of Conquest.
